Allison Majors 10/30

On the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, a strong storm is starting to come into the Northeast region. The wind might turn out to be very damaging by the end of the storm, as they are expecting “hurricane force wind gusts”. People are being notified to take shelter and stay away from sailing. Major airports are facing delays because of the storm. The storm started Sunday and is supposed to die down by Monday. Rainfalls could possibly reach more than 6 inches.
I think this would be a very scary situation to be in. This storm probably reminds inhabitants of New Jersey of the devastating hurricane Sandy from the past. It would freak me out to witness the horror and of a hurricane and then, only a few years later, get notified of a bad storm coming in. This storm isn’t supposed to be a full blown hurricane, but it has some potential for damage. This article was made on the Sunday the storm was starting to unfold, so it does not say the real outcomes of the storm.

  1. I agree that this would be an extremely nerve racking situation to be in. However, The effects of the storm are what truly cause the chaos.
