Over the course of eight months Isauro Aguirre tortured his girlfriend's son, 8 year old Gabriel Fernandez to death due to the belief that the boy was gay. Supposedly Isauro burned Gabriel with cigarettes, physically assaulted him with a bat, shot him with a BB gun, and forced him to eat his own feces and vomit. Again all due to the belief that he was gay.
The world should be further informed that disgusting acts of hate such as this are still going on. So when LGBT related things pop up in the news, social media, or even in the entertainment industry, before you cry "their shoving this gay stuff down our throat" think about why. If anything the more the media represents the LGBT community, the safer the LGBT community is from acts of hate like this.
It is so terrible that someone would do this. Hopefully nothing like this happens again.
