In Park View, Iowa water has been tinged and is running black, dark and rust-colored and experts are working to fix this issue. Park View's Water and Sanitary District has hired a new operations manager, Brent Earley, to try and fix the problem. Earley says the water contains three bad chemicals, ammonia, manganese, and iron. The metals are coming from inside the cites wells, they are attempting to hydraulic flush the water system to cleanse it for the cites inhabitants.

Im glad that people are taking action to fix this problem. It is really unhealthy to not have clean water in cities because it used for so many things to keep people alive and well. IT goes to show that we shouldn't be taking things like clean water and food for granted.

  1. Hopefully the sanitary district will soon fix the wells of the contaminated water and it won’t cause pollution anywhere else.

  2. This is terrible. Every human needs food, water, air, and shelter. Without good quality water, they are missing out on a key nutrient.
