There are many reform movements starting to grow in China especially in the economy and labor. There is a large movement towards electric to solve their on growing pollution problems that not only effects the Earth but factory workers as well. Lou Yanli, a mother of two, is worried about the air and what it could be doing to her children. There has also been a push for China to focus less on cheep exports and government investments and more on the Country's domestic needs.
These reforms are similar to the reforms of the antebellum age. Although Chinas are more economic the both wanted reforms from their government and these economic reforms could lead to more social reforms much like those in the antebellum age.

Olivia Wall- that is really great that they are trying to solve economical and societal problems from their own country. I think them working on their economy will benefit them in the future.
