The amount of natural disasters that are following one after another is hard to believe. So far, the United States has experienced the second most natural disasters on record in 2017. All of this ties back to global warming. I think we need to start addressing the well being of our planet because if we don't we can only expect more and more life threatening natural disasters like this one.

Typhoon Hits Japan - Lauren Rothert
Early this morning, a large typhoon brought strong winds to Japan, leaving behind the threat of major flooding and mudslides. Typhoon Lan first made landfall on the southern coast of Japan, and heading northeast at a rapid rate. Originally a category 2 storm, Typhoon Lan is weakening but is still expected to hit Tokyo with heavy rains and strong winds. This typhoon is so large that its cloud field is larger than Japan, and has already dropped 894 millimeters of rain over the past 72 hours. Massive waves are already being experienced in South Korea.
