Summary: An arsenal of weapons, explosives, and ammunition was found in the home of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock. This stockpile of weapons proved that this shooting was thoroughly planned and no spur-of-the-moment event.
Analysis: Yet another example of the abuse of the second amendment. This is the largest mass shooting in modern US history, with 59 dead and hundreds wounded (as of 6:35pm on Monday October 2nd as I write this). The laws surrounding gun and weapon ownership are way to lenient. I believe that abolishing the second amendment isn't necessary, but rather adding more thorough restrictions on gun ownership. With the many mass shootings that have happened in the recent past (Sandy Hook, Orlando, and now Vegas), the casualties prove that America desperately needs amended gun laws to hopefully prevent potential killing machines falling into the hands of the wrong people.
