 It has been a year ever since Colin Kaepernick started taking a knee during the national anthem at the beginning of games. He was fired, but he believes NFL owners are conspiring against him, so he’s filed a grievance and reportedly hired high profile attorney Mark Geragos.

      Kaepernick states that he believes owners have violated the collective bargaining agreement, saying teams can’t come together and agree to make decisions as a group about a player’s employment. Kaepernick has later stated that he is willing to stop his protests during the national anthem, which I don't personally agree with but I understand he has to provide for himself and his family.
