Josie Guthrey-Massive Sinkhole Threatens Drinking Water

Article: A huge sinkhole, located at the mosaic plant, has appeared 40 feet wide. When it was first noticed, the implanted systems to get the water but it was later discovered that not all the water was being saved. The water was examined at determined that it was radioactive and contaminated with phosphoric acid. Luckily, no one who lives near by is in danger and the company is doing regular safety checks.

Summary: his sinkhole is very bad news. It is located near a phosphorus fertilizer and animal feeding site, therefore, the water was easily contaminated. There is not much we can do about the sinkhole except hope we can clean the water fast enough. Many of the wells nearby are being tested via the communities request and, thankfully are reporting back clean. Hopefully, they can find a solution to this unfortunate problem soon.
