Hannah Howell- F.B.I. Treats Minnesota Mall Stabbing Acts As Potential Acts Of Terrorism

Summary:
On Saturday,  September 17, a man stabbed 9 people at a shopping mall in Minnesota. Before he could hurt anyone else, he was shot and killed by an off duty police officer. The FBI were investigating and think that it could be a possible act of terrorism. On Sunday, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack and said that the offender was an ISIS soldier. A police officer in a nearby city claimed this was an "evil act, unjustifiable in any way".

Analysis:
It seems like more and more horrific things keep happening in our world. There has been these stabbings and the bombings in New York and New Jersey just in the past week. I agree with the statement of the police officer; there is absolutely no justification for acts like this. Sometimes it seems like events such as this don't really effect us directly, but you can never be so sure what or when tragedy will strike.

  2. I agree that we never know when something so crazy could strike. The best we can do is be aware and try to stay safe.
