Evan Daane- Jill Stein flies to Cincinatti

You may be asking yourself "who's Jill Stein?" That's not an uncommon question this election as the battle between  Donald trump and Hillary Clinton rages on. Jill Stein is the Green Party canidate for president. You may now be asking " what's the Green Party?"  Well it's the fourth largest party in the campaign for president.  Now their are only four parties actually running so that doesn't say much but with this years dislike for both candidates they may attract enough people to have a bit of influence in the vote. Although their chances to win are close to zero, they are still trying and that led Jill Stein to accidentally fly to Cincinatti instead of Columbus. This delayed her rally by a few hours and caused the hundred or less people waiting to see her.

Analysis- Since this party is so small and so little recognized it makes it easy for mistakes like this to happen. It quite honestly makes me mad that these people get so little of a voice and recognition because the attention sucking bigger parties take it all.  I don't even particularly agree with either one of these parties but I feel like they really should be included in debates and the like. This is just another case of bigger established entities making anything else absolete. When something like this happens it shows how little they have to make plans and campaign.

  1. I definitely agree with you Evan. The two party system in the U.S. gives the American people less of a voice. This election cycle should change how we look at the election system, possibly move to something like Canada has, more of a six party system. -Ethan Lacey
