Summary:
Although much of this tragic case is still unknown, what is known is that 13 year old Nichole Madison Lovell is murdered and two Virginia Tech students are accused of committing the crime. It is just recently that the second student, Natalie M. Keepers was arrested to be charged alongside fellow student David E. Eisenhauer and both students are currently being held at Montgomery County Jail. Although there is not much right now that is obviously pointing to these students as the ones who committed the crime, neither have a criminal record and both were arrested due to vague reference to their crime by peers on social media. Other than speculation, not much can be said right now in certainty that Lovell's murderers are truly caught, or if they are, that they will stay that way.
Analysis:
This tragic case is yet another example on how new technologies can improve our justice system. Inventions in the mid-late 19th centruy definitely improved our ability to catch criminals, and now we have fingerprint technology, security cameras, heck they arrested these two people on account of social media. At the same time, this comes at a risk, lying on social media isn't exactly difficult, and discovering the truth in that matter sometimes can be, lets just hope that this poor girls murderer is caught.
