Sanders Condemns ‘Bernie Bros’ By Daniel Marans --Zoe Roberts, 3rd Period

Summary: A new group of Bernie Sanders supports have arisen, a large group of white male Sanders supporters have created the Bernie Bros. The "Bros" are notorious for disgusting messages posted to Hillary Clinton's Facebook page, and political tweets stating the Clinton supporters are just vaginas. Bernie Bros, have gone so far as to create anti Hillary Facebook pages referring to the former Secretary of State as, "clitrash". When asked about the Bernie Bros, Bernie Sanders responded by fully condemning those behind the Bernie Bros."I have heard about it. It's disgusting. Look we don't want that crap." Bernie Sanders responded "... We will do everything we can and I think we have tried. Look, anybody who is supporting me that is doing sexist things is--we don't want them. I don't want them. That is not what this campaign is about.

Analysis: First of all, men never fail to disgust. As we make it further and further into the election year we get more and more mudslinging. There is always a healthy portion of sexism but this is just truly disgusting. I wish we knew more about political mudslinging back in the turn of the century, then I could do some good synthesizing. Mudslinging has always been around, and will always be around, it's like yellow journalism but with way more prejudice opinions. All in all, I am grossed out, but extremely happy that Bernie addressed the Bernie Bros and condemned them.
