College students have recently showed a greater intention to vote, and particularly on the far left or liberal side of the spectrum. The majority of left leaning students are found at private colleges, or historically black colleges. The survey also found that that women were more likely to lean left, while men were more likely to lean right.
Students haven't been this liberal since the 60's, during the vietnam war. This change will most likely assist Bernie Sanders and or Hillary Clinton in this years election. The social circumstances surrounding the 60's are similar to what they are, which serves as the reasoning to why the survey results turned out as they did.
