John Brennan, the director of the CIA appeared of the show 60 minutes and said that he suspects that there will be an ISIS attack just like the one on Paris in the U.S.. He believes that their attempts are inevitable but not their successes. What do you think? Is an ISIS attack in the U.S. possible to happen soon?
This connects not only with the 9/11 attack but also the attack in Paris on November 13th. Of course the goal is to never have any attack like that happen again. However with all the recent attack (like the one in Paris) it seems like we are more and more at risk. Preventing this would require lots of restrictions when it comes to immigrants coming into the country. But this has to be something we need to do in order to make sure the people in our country stay safe. This also connects with the Red Pani. This lead to lots of deporting immigrants out of the fear of spreading of communist ideas. This is very similar to today when lots of immigrants are ridiculed ad discriminated against because of peoples fear of terrorism.
