Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders Battle over Meaning of "Progressive" by Caroline North 9th period

A new topic has arisen in the debates between Clinton on Sanders on different definitions of "progressive".  Bernie argued the cons of voting for Hillary, listing her pro-war with Iraq vote, the $15 she accepted from Wall Street, and her reluctance to stand against the Trans-Pacific Partnership.  Clinton has countered this by exclaiming she 's not phased by Sanders's remarks, and ultimately they have the same goals.  The two have agreed to participate in four more party debates leading into the elections.

This article demonstrates the sense of urgency as the primaries swiftly approach.  Arguments, cases, and campaigns are constantly evolving and advancing in hopes to pull ahead in the race.  Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are two big favorites across the nation to win the presidency.  The arise of Bernie's argument that Hillary is not progressive enough to address the existing issues and ones that will come up during the presidency, reflect and evidence the events of campaigning and serves as an example of the types of remarks used by candidates to try to win over voters.
