Christa Hamby P1 - 'Breasts are not weapons'

In March a Hong Kong woman sentenced to 3.5 months in jail for "assaulting a police officer" with her breast. Sunday morning protesters who gathered outside the Wan Chai Police Headquarters in downtown Hong Kong chanted "breasts are not weapon”. Protestors said the ruling was sexist and set a dangerous precedent for victims of sexual violence. Angry citizens wore bras in protest to symbolize that breast are a part of human origin not a weapon.
It is finally time that the new generation of young educated woman take a stand in Hong Kong. Efforts the Communist government have made toward gender equality were met with resistance in the historically male-dominate Chinese society, and obstacles continue to stand in the way of women seeking to gain greater equality in China. This public protest is a big step forward for female activist in china. All over the world women are being demeaned for our body in modern society. Its only a matter of time before change is forced to be made.

  1. I really, really want to read this with a straight face, but I just can't... How could one be assaulted by a woman's breasts? I literally don't think that is possible.
