18th Century Shipwreck Accidentally Found -Lauren Forrest -Flex

While removing debris from under the US 50 Bridge in Maryland, what looked like ship timbers were stumbled upon. Archaeologists now confirm that the ship, discovered last spring, is perhaps one of the oldest found in this Maryland area. Reports say the ship dates back to the late 1700s. Chief archaeologist Julie Schablistkylsdkfj says "the day you find a shipwreck in Maryland waters is a momentous occasion." A few artifacts have been discovered, and a 3d laser scanner is being used to reconstruct what they looked like before the wreck.

This is quite the discovery. The artifacts can be used in museums to showcase to the public, and plus its pretty cool on its own.
