Erika is not a tropical storm anymore, but it could still bring heavy rain and flooding as it travels from the Carribean to Florida. Governor Rick Scott told the residents of Florida to "...remain vigilant even though Erika has weakened. The system is expected to move across the eastern Gulf of Mexico later Sunday and Monday. Florida is expecting 3-5 inches of rainfall on Sunday, and the U.S. Coast Guard warned boaters and cargo ships of possible gale force winds. Erika has already claimed at least 20 lives, so Governor Rick Scott declared a state of emergency.

The fact that this has claimed so many lives is very sad, in my opinion.
