World's oldest man dies: Salustiano Sanchez was 112 (Rhyann Lee) By Faith Karimi,
Summary: Salustiano Sanchez was a 112 years old and was named world's oldest man in June. He died friday at a nursing home in western New York. All of his friends call him shorty. Sanchez’s hobbies were crossword puzzles and he was a self taught musician. He also said his longevity came from eating a banana a day. Sanchez has two children, grandchildren, great grand chidren and great great grandchildren and has lived to see them all.
Analysis: I think it is so amazing to see how long people live. Some people don’t even make it to twenty and Sanchez made it to 112. That is just a blessing. Im very thankful for old people especially since my granny was 91 years old and lived by herself without any help. She was elderly but still was in her right mind.

Felicia Padilla 5th period: This just makes me so very happy inside! It is so amazing how someone can have such a long life. But at the same time it's heartbreaking knowing that some people don't even really get a life. I have a friend who's great grandfather just turned 109 years old. It truly is a miracle knowing that someone has been able to experience a complete and full life that hopefully they deserve. If I was able to live this long of a life I would try my best to help as many people as I could.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a blessing that this man was able to live such a long and fulfilling life. Looking at his picture just makes me smile because you can still see such life in his eyes. It's sad that he has died, but I know that he has lived a good life.
ReplyDeleteHe must have been a very good man. It's such a blessing to live so many years. His long years must have been great and lived to the fullest. - Michelle Zuniga
