Okay, so let's talk about creepy. This article tells the story of a woman , Miss Teen USA, who's computer was hacked by a guy from her high school who used it to watch her and take photos of her changing; only then to blackmail his victims into sending more pictures. He apparently had hacked into approximately 150 computers.
That is about the extent of a summary. I see this article as a gateway to a lesson. We have a false sense of security established through the Internet and technology. It is pertinent that we all remember anything that we put out online can be accessed by hackers. Not only that... But in some cases we aren't allotted privacy when we are even in viewing distance of our phones and computers. There are certain precautions people can take such as covering their webcam, erasing browsing history and cookies, increasing security on social medias, being aware of what you post on social media, and there are several other ways. Part of what is most important is being aware of the problem and paying attention to any warning signs.
