Firefighters killed by Miscommunications
19 out of 20 firefighters died 3 months ago in a wildfire. Results just came in that during their investigation and rescue of the wildfire their radios began to malfunction. Without their radios they were unable to receive any news from aerial communications of the fire. Family members were distraught about what they use to help to protect (GPS, radios, etc.) are actually a hazardous problem. The company should either upgrade to functioning tools or find a new solution somehow instead of risking the lives of firefighters and of the ones they save. The radios cut-off were 33 minutes long of no reply to or from the firefighters. Technology these days can not be depended on. every and anything has a limit and we must learn to function with out it. this constant distraction of anything does not help us function properly and most likely doesn't even function for the proper necessities besides the act of some toy. We should only use the essentials not the more high-tech gear for our own personal pleasure. These would only cause problems and maybe one day somehow will cause a casualty.

This is alarming as a citizen, the things that are supposed to help us are breaking or malfunctioning. This is just crazy to me, so many things to harm us in this world and the radio for our fireman can seem so small but can make the biggest difference in the world.
