Ted Cruz: ‘Embarrassed’ to have supported McCain for president in 2008
In an article written by Chris Moddy from Yahoo! News, we are given more information into the drama surrounding the government shut down. Republican senator Ted Cruz stated “I don’t know a conservative who didn’t feel embarrassed voting in 2006 or 2008,” Cruz told GQ. “I think the Republican Party lost its way. We didn’t stand for the principles we’re supposed to believe in.” He claims that voting for McCain back in 2008 wasn't his best moment. Along with calling McCain, basically, a political sellout for president, Ted Cruz has been causing trouble. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas has been know to be a bully and an abuser of power in the house. It sad to see a person we voted for turn into one of the biggest trouble makers in America. I hope this rebellious teenager remembers what issues are important and which are fillers.
