Monday morning, Baltimore Raven's wide receiver Jacoby Jones was hit over the head, causing an injury. A fight broke out on a party bus at approximately 3 a.m. Jones was injured when "Sweet Pea," a stripper, swung a bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne and struck his head. The champagne is packaged in a metallic bottle. An ambulance was called for a "bleeding make" but didn't take Jones away. Jones was bleeding from his head but apparently couldn't recall why. Nevertheless, Jones was back at practice the following day. John Harbaugh, the Raven's head coach, is not very pleased. He says he doesn't want them to be known for that kind of behavior or for what happened.
I think it's safe to say that most likely "Sweet Pea" was under the influence of some kind. I don't think a stripper on a party bus slams a bottle of booze down on a wide receiver whilst completely sober. I think it's also safe to say that Jones himself was not completely sober either. It explains why he didn't seem to be in much pain while he was bleeding out of the head and why he couldn't recall how he received the injury in the first place. Also, I find it extremely irresponsible to go out on a party bus the night before you have to go to practice.
