On Monday morning there was a shooting in Washington DC and the lives of 13 Americans were taken and 14 were injured. The chaos was caused by 34 year old Alexis. FBI is still searching for a more information on him, but it is known that he is a military contractor. Since the shooting, security at the pentagon has increased.
As questions swarm about the incident, one stands out in particularly. Is the fact that the shooting was so close to 9/11 a sign? As they search for more information on who was involved all FBI continues to come up with is that it was a one man job.

I've been keeping up with this topic but I remember on CNN that they were saying that there might be another possible gunman on the loose but I'm not sure if they still believe that...

I think that it was just a coincidence that it was close to 9/11. How is a shooting and a terrorist plane crashing into the world trade center going to be considered connected. It could be but i highly doubt it.
