Suprisingly, this is not a feminist movement, but a movement by the National Coalition for Men. The Defendant is the Selective Service System. It is based on the "constitutional mandate that no person shall be denied equal protection of the law. Plantiffs argue that it denies the 5th ammendment due process law. In the selictive service system, if you do not register then you will have to pay heavy fines up to $10,000.
This Directly relates to the selective service act implemented during ww1 but with a women power spin. This is a good court case because it advances feminism and adds more people in the draft
