Ban on Felons Right to Vote in Florida- Hannah Rodriguez
In Florida, the process for felons to regain their right to vote is one of the toughest processes. However, felons may have regained their right to vote on election night. The voting rights restored for felons in Florida is higher than the population of many other states like Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, Rhode Island, Montana, Maine, and New Hampshire. However this is not eligible for murderers or people convicted of sexual assault. Only those who have completed their sentence and parole have the opportunity to have their voting rights restored buy the Fourth Amendment, supported by 64% voters.

I believe that it is important, especially in cases of people who have committed smaller crimes to not be simply stripped of their constitutional rights, and instead being permitted still to participate within the legal systems of the country, and excersise their right to vote.
