Dead humpback whale discovered in Brazil’s Amazon jungle puzzles researchers
By Jennifer Earl
Marine experts are scratching their head to find out how a dead whale was found in the Amazon jungle. They theorize that the whale was swimming close to shore when a giant wave pushed the whale inland. But another question arises from this strange phenomenon: why was the whale on the north coast of Brazil during February. Officials have ventured many guesses as to what contributed to the whale's demise from succumbing to stress due to separation from its mother to consuming too much plastic.
I find this article very weird and funny at the same time. I mean it sucks that the whale died but at the same time how does that even happen. It does raise a bit of awareness of sea pollution which I do think needs more attention.
