Many teachers in West Virgina led a walkout against a bill that was passed. This walkout was successful as now the West Virginia House or Delegates is postponing any further action. Teachers continued their walkout even after the bill was changed.
We see how this mirrors history as there were walkouts for education by African Americans. Although this isn’t for inequality of different denominations it is still a fight for education.
I’m glad the teachers voices are being heard.
