The new hit movie Green Book won best picture at the oscars last night. Although it had many controversies about the race relations in the 1960s, it was still able to beat out Black Panther and Roma. This Oscar had no host, as many of us were questioning how this is possible, they still were able to throw an amazing night together with little skits and previous Oscar winners as the openers. They even included a few political jokes involving Trump.
The Oscars have been going on for many years. Oscars 2019 will be one to remember considering there was a breakthrough with no host, and many of the movies were about important social issues taking place in past time (Green Book), had a black male lead (Black Panther and BlackkKlansmam), or involved a foreign-language (Roma).
