On Friday night an unidentified man shot and killed 2 people before killing himself at a yoga studio in Tallahassee, Florida. At least four others were wounded as well. One guy in the yoga class reportedly tried to stop the shooter, saving many of the people there.
This article was written on Friday night so there might be more recent news concerning others that were injured. This is so sad because people go to yoga to relax and you would never expect something like this to happen. Nine months ago a shooter killed 17 students and teachers in a Parkland school, which is in the same Florida district so this event likely hit the community very hard. These events relate to each other because no act of gun violence is acceptable and they especially don’t belong in schools and yoga studios.
This is such a heart breaking event to hear about, but the fact that a man saved plenty of people in that room makes me feel like there is at least some good people out there in this this country & even in America. I agree with you that no act of gun violence is acceptable in any place or time. Thank you for this even Courtney! Do you think this event will teach people around America a lesson?
