This article from the Washington Post is concerning sexual harassment in the workplace, focusing on Google in this case. Google is said to have fired 48 employees for sexual harassment allegations, but as discovered apparently google has payed a recent employee who was fired for sexual harassment allegations 90 million dollars. Even though Rubin has left the company google still payed him and was heavily involved in his most recent project with Android. This goes to show that Google is not telling us the truth and still pays employees who have allegedly participated in sexual misconduct. The article also informs us that in the Silicon Valley 75% of jobs are taken by men and 93% are white or asian. This is devastating because America has been fighting for women's rights in the workplace ever since Seneca falls in 1848. Seneca Falls was a convention where women fought for their rights, i would regret to inform those same women that today we still do not have equal rights in the workplace, or have respect when we are sexually assaulted.
