Geraldo Rivera: Immigration advocates should strike a bargain with Trump. Here's what i propose -Yesenia Ramirez

This controversy began in June in Sandusky, Ohio, and it all started because around 114 immigrants workers were rounded up by ICE authorities. They were than kept in hold in deportation and this led to other people in other countries disagree on what the government had done knowing those people work hard every day so they can feed and give their families a better life. Also many immigrants starting from Guatemala and Honduras started a caravan due to the crisis in their countries and also creating a protest towards the U.S. government. But due to this rapidly expanding Caravan and seeing their determination in this the U.S. president said that he will send the military to protect our borders to prevent them from coming in.

The author of this article is Geraldo Rivera and he show his point of view all through his article by saying how our nation fears being over-run by poor, hungry, people of color which motivates Caravans and illegal immigration. This article was written to inform us about this current issue that we are dealing with and how it all started. My thought of this article is that i think of what the president said on how he will send the military to our borders if necessary to protect them and i ask my self if the military will shoot the people which are mostly woman and children to prevent them to come in. If this were to happen we will then see how far our government will be able to go and what risks will they be taking.
