South Korea's President lands in North Korea, as two countries push to end war -Darrin Fleenor

For the past couple decades North and South Korean have had there far she of hatred and opinions toward each other.  But as of yesterday it seems the 2 countries are beginning to see each other in a different way. President moon of south Korea flew to the north to have a meeting with North Korea president Kim. It seems that a spark is starting to form as the 2 former leaders of both countries have not met with each other sense 2007. Moon says that "What I want to achieve is peace. Not a tentative change which could be volatile dependent on international situation, but irreversible, permanent and unwavering peace, regardless of what might happen on the global arena."

This in. some form could almost be represented as Americas former North and South. The 2 ares had different ideas and opinions on certain things and how to run a government.n They eventually got in to a war called the "civil war". (most Americans know it) Also like America both countries of Korea got in a war called the Korean and Vietnam  war that tor the relationship ( if there ever was one) between the 2 apart. But now it seems that life and its ways are changing. And weather the 2 leaders bonded over there hate of our president trump or they just wanted to have a therapy session we don't care. Most likely the 1st one. We are happy to see to opposing forces finally become one

  1. I think that this is a big step towards peace between these two countries. It would be amazing if they could begin to understand each other and eventually work together. I hope that this will benefit the people that have been separated from their families.

  2. This could be a very monumental step towards peace between the two countries however I find it hard to see peace between two countries with different ideals unless the two countries literally avoid each other on all fronts otherwise their opinions will just continue to clash. Then again mutual hate for someone could be what gets them past this

  3. Seeing peace, however shaky it may be, between these two countries is a huge step forward in slowly piecing North and South Korea into one again for the first time in almost 75 years. Though unlikely it will happen in the next decade, acts like Korea playing as one country in the Olympics and and meeting to arrange military agreements are baby steps to a bigger cause.
