The Dow - Sam Wood

Today (Monday, February 5th)  the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1,175 points. This is the single largest point decline in the history of the market. There seem to be a number of reasons that this is happening.  Rising wages, political uncertainty and rising interest rates a few of the possible causes. The 500 richest people in the world lost 114 billion dollars combined.

It seems to me that the market couldn't keep going up forever. This may be the beginning of a correction or the end of one of the longest running bull markets in history. Stock markets dislike uncertainty, which is everywhere in politics right now.
