SpaceX to Launch Falcon Heavy in February Blog Post #2

Blog Post #2 (Technically Blog #1 for me, but I'm going by week)

SpaceX  Sets  February  Launch  Date  for  Falcon  Heavy

Source: CNN

Summary: SpaceX, a company started by Elon Musk that makes rockets, has set the launch date for its Falcon Heavy. This rocket is important because it is said to be capable of going to Mars. This rocket is currently the most powerful one the company has made so far, and the second most powerful rocket ever built.  The launch date is set to be on Saturday, February 6, 2018. For its test flight, it will carry a Tesla, one of Elon Musk's personal cars. The rocket itself cost an estimate of 90 million dollars, however, this is relatively cheap compared to its competitor. Its competitor is 400 million dollars.

Analysis: This is an extremely important event because if this is successful, this will be the first attempt by any space agency to make a rocket that could be capable of reaching Mars. This is related to US history because it will be a remembered date if it succeeds or fails in the history of space. I think this is very interesting because it is the first rocket I've ever heard of to be launched in an attempt to reach Mars.
