Donald Trump continues to defend members within his administration who are resigning with series accusations of domestic violence and abuse. David Sorensen, a White House speechwriter, resigned after his ex-wife, Jessica Corbett, claimed that he had abused her psychically during their short marriage. Rob Porter also resigned as staff secretary last week when his two ex-wives accused him of verbal and physically abuse. While most people would distance themselves from people who have been accused of these things, Trump has made it clear that he thinks these allegations are false and that they are innocent.
Honestly, it doesn't surprise me that he still thinks they're good men. I mean, Trump has so many allegations against him as well regarding sexual assault, so it doesn't shock me he would still support someone who has domestic violence allegations against them.
