Guns Laws are being considered after the Florida shooting that killed 17 people.
Trump has stated that he wanted to improve on the background check for guns. The National Rifle Association has also shown support for this. Still, they are people who call on the full ban of guns.
Also I found that some republicans believed it was a mental issue, violent gaming issue and/or even a"violent" rap issue.
Personally, I would like a full- out ban on guns. Yes, there is the argument that it is the person not the weapon that is the problem;however, there is a reason why it is called a weapon. This is a dangerous tool that can easily take away someones life. And while I don't have any opposition to having better background checks, I don't think it will really prevent much. Anyone over the age of 18 in Florida that has a clean background has the ability to buy an ar-15. My belief is that we are all children. Some may be more responsible/aware than others, while others may be a little (or a lot) more careless and frivolous. The banning of guns can help eliminate the chances of another careless "child" and future mass shootings.
