President Donald Trump expressed his doubt and disapproval of the #MeToo Movement over tweet saying “Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused- life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?” Trump goes on to question the credibility of anyone who comes forward with their own story of harassment or assault.
I understand that there will be cases of allegations that are false however the percent of false allegations is extremely low making up 2-8% of reports. Trump’s case that the accused lives are ruined is most definitely not always the case considering that our own President of the United States happens to have quite of couple of allegations under his belt and yet has been elected to the highest power of office. Also what does it matter if someone comes out with an “old” accusation. Does it make it any less important, Trump?

Does anything Trump say usually make any sense? He says whatever he wants regardless of the criticisms of others. Especially about different movements that try to improve people's lives. All he cares about is building a wall, repealing everything Obama did, and vacations that put taxpayer money to waste.
ReplyDeleteYou can never trust what Trump says anymore. It docent matter how old the allegation is it still happened. Trump stated that #METOO is ruining lives but in my opinion its saving lives and making others realize their not alone.
