After Hurricane Maria, Puerto Rico has been completely wiped out. Devoid of electricity, shelter, and clean water the US Government neglects to fit their needs for a full recovery and for some-survival. President Donald Trump made a visit to Puerto Rico a couple weeks after the event, but in doing so provided little to no support while doing things like pep talks and throwing towels to crowds. However, after his trip ended and he returned to the White House, the country remained with 25% having no water and 75% having no electricity. This means that as of now, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands are experiencing the biggest blackout in US History. As a US territory, it is our right and our duty as a country to help the people of Puerto Rico who are dying and suffering. Down below is a link to UNICEF, an organization dedicated to helping Puerto Rico and other islands in the Caribbean.
