Current Event-Ellen Whitehead

Billionaire, Mark Cuban, claims that he may run for president in 2020. Cuban spent most of the past months before the election last year speaking against President Trump on social media and in person at a debate he was invited to by Hillary Clinton. When asked for which party he would run for, Cuban responded that he was "fiercely independent." However, in order to run for president, it is essential that he chose one party to run for. He stated that he is leaning towards republicanism. In the past couple months, Cuban has spent a lot of his money researching of how difficult it is to create a third party on the election ballad. It seems that Cuban is serious about the idea for running for president in 2020. I personally think that our presidents should be people who have studied politics and become politicians prior to running for president. I don't know much about Mark Cuban but I am afraid that the same situation with President Trump will occur where our president has not been educated in the proper ways to run a country.
