Flood emergency declared in Louisiana; 2 killed as storms slam Southeast-Lia Kerkman 6

      Heavy rains have been pelting the northeast and causing floodwaters, and forcing residents out of their homes. At least two people have died in Texas and Louisiana from the storms. The Louisiana governer has declared 16 parishes to be issued as flash flood emergencies. Roads have been destroyed also, as Louisiana has received more than ten inches of rain and could possibly see 10 more inches on the way.
      This seems to be causing some major problems. These states aren't used to having monsoon like storming. People aren't prepared for these conditions and the fact that it's even caused death is tragic. They need to start taking further measures to ensure everyones safety.
