Girl pronounced dead is "healthy"-Nicholas Watson, 9th

Summary:
   A 15 year old girl pronounced dead more than 2 years ago is healthy and better than ever according to a photo posted by the family. Doctors declared Jahi MCMath officialy dead after a surgery went wrong in 2013, But the family refused to give up hope, so they moved to New Jersey where the state allowed her to stay on life support. Finally a post from the family saying that Jahi was as healthy and beautiful as ever brought media attention to the family's page that's dedicated to keeping updates on her condition. Her family preaches that shes alive because of the fact that she has shown signs of puberty and no organ decay. Also she is able to respond with hand movement when given verbal commands. Th family's attorney says that she needs to be pronounced alive and that her death certificate needs to be voided.

Analysis:
   I think this story brings so much hope in a world that lacks it. Thanks to the technological advances that the medical industry has manifested, the possibility of Jahi remaining alive was only with the help of Life Support, a technology many before it's time were not able to experience and therefore unable to save lives. I also think that the amount of support that is being shown to the family is a testimony to people's ability to come together in a dark time to hopefully shine some light. This story has greatly interested me, and the many naysayers that Jahi has proved wrong has intrigued me to continue to stray with the story and check for any updates on her condition.
