Carson Becomes Second Candidate to Back Trump by Caroline North 9th period
After dropping out of the presidential race March 4, Ben Carson announced recently his endorsement for Republican front-runner Donald Trump. He made the announcement in a joint news conference in Florida ahead of that state's primary held the following Tuesday. Trump says he is receptive to Carson's input particularly on education, given he is an acclaimed neurosurgeon while Carson publicizes that Trump is the best fit for our nation's next president.
