In Pakistan, Taliban's attack on Easter targets Christians; 67 people killed- Lia Kerkman 6

A group of Pakistani Taliban targeting Christians on Easter Sunday has taken blame for a deadly attack. CNN was told by local government that the suicide bombs went off in an eastern Pakistan city and left at least sixty-seven dead and three hundred injured. The explosions were said to have gone off in the city's Gulshan Iqbal Park where many families were celebrating the holiday. The blast was condemned, but a spokes person for the taliban group ensures that they will continue.
Right now is one of the worst times of terrorism. This isn't the first time that this has happened in Pakistan. Just a couple of years ago almost the same thing happened, where a bomb was set off in Lahore. It seems terrorist attacks are happening a lot more often recently and religion will always be a very controversial topic.

  1. This is such a tragic event and many innocent lives were lost while so many are still injured. I'm not sure exactly what the best way to go about solving the problem of terrorism is but hopefully we find a solution quickly.
