Multiple grocery stores are voluntarily recalling canned tuna because of possible health risks. These risks came about due to the commercial sterilization process, which could lead to a life threatening disease. No illnesses have been reported due to the tuna but precautions are necessary. During a routine inspection there was a malfunction in a part of machinery, this part has been replaced and the machine needs to be inspected. Companies are recalling 31,579 cases of the canned tuna that were distributed in february. The recall is mainly a precaution but is very important to the health of the entire country.
