In this upcoming presidential elections, we have some rather interesting candidates including, but not limited to (fortunately) Donald Trump. Donald Trump, as most people know by this point, is a racist, arrogant businessman who has taken the old proverb "there is no such this as bad press" and made it his mantra. Several of his campaigning "tactics" have been direct insults to Mexico and bashing of South America in general. He has stated on several occasions that he intends to force Mexico to pay for a very large wall (the actual prospective height continues to grow every time Trump mentions it) in between the United States and Mexico to keep the "drug-traffickers and rapists" out. Many legal Latino immigrants have had enough of this and are applying for U.S. citizenship simply so that they can vote against Donald Trump. Way to go, future American citizens, I applaud you.

ReplyDeleteI am appalled that America has let this joke run for president for this long.
I think its sad that he thinks Mexicans are the problem, because drug dealers and rapists aren't JUST mexican. They are white, black etc. His argument is incredibly invalid and ignorant. But then again, what's new?(Alejandra Hernandez 6th period)
