China's space interest worries US -Julianne Swaykus 6

     With China testing surface-to-air missiles and experimental lasers that can scramble or "blind" satellites, the US has become suspicious they have military implications. We are already not on good measures with Beijing over cyber-warefare accusations and we are worried China's armament might spread to outer space (home to US satellites vital to American interests). "The US relies on these devices for various military and civilian implications including gathering intelligence, and targeting weapons."
     This is very frightening because if China does something to our satellites that will mess with all of our technology, which now we depend greatly on. We need to keep a close eye on what exactly China is planning on doing in space and how it could hurt us.
