Alabama Governor with a possible impeachment?
Audio recordings with sexually explicit conversations between the Alabama Governor, Robert Bentley, and one of his aides surfaced recently back from 2014. Both the woman and Bentley denied having a physical affair. Governor Robert Bentley has tried very hard to be clear that he did nothing wrong. Recently Bentley has apologized for the innapropriate conversations, and claims it was a long time ago, that he has changed. Bentley and his wife divorced last year. Democratic and Republican lawmakers have called for the governor to resign, but Bentley has announced that he will not be stepping down from his position as governor.
Analysis: This article was an interesting read. This can synthesize back to Bill Clinton and his affair with his mistress, he became a less popular man after the ordeal but changed his ways. There is always the possibility of change but I believe the governor should be punished in some way for his actions.
