"Boston Homeless Man Turns in Lost Backpack Stuffed With $42K" - Natalie H. - Class 2

This article was created by ABC news nine hours ago in America (HQ lie in NY).  I know that ABC is very popular and means well, yet like all typical news, they say, “Good evening,” and then proceed to tell you why it’s not. However, this story is different and enlightening, even.

Now, living in an urban area, I’m used to seeing homeless people hanging out along the sides of streets with a cardboard signs that usually read, “Need food, anything helps, God bless,” and on a good day I would hand them 5-10 bucks. But normally I keep my distance.

And yet, today this article was shown to the general public, and actually shed some light on the good deeds of the humble. Any person could have found that bag and kept the cash, and there are a handful of good natured people who actually return someone’s belongings to the authorities. But for a homeless person to do so? Penniless and in Boston? I’m quite impressed, and actually a little hopeful for our citizens. So kudos to that man.
