Winter Storm Hits the North East - Paolo Buccino

After everything that has happened with hurricane Sandy up in the North Eastern United States, now there is a winter storm. As you guys may already know, the storm caused major damage to an already weak and obsolete infrastructure. 640,000 people have already been without power for a while, and this winter weather is adding to that number.
This weather system had 65 mph wind gusts and might drop up to 4 inches of snow in New York. A lot of people up there have been without power for a long time. Down here in Texas, it wouldn't be so hard because the weather is relatively mild. Up there, the winter weather is extremely cold and harsh. People are freezing in their homes and some lost their winter clothing.
I think that we should keep these things in mind and try and help out with the situation in whatever ways we can. This winter storm is literally nothing so far. People will probably need help for a while.

  1. This is so sad. I have A LOT of family and friends in New York. These last couple weeks have just been so tragic and I bet people are loosing hope. Plus, the chaos took away from voting! Subways were shut down, houses destroyed, people dead, it's all so tragic! I hope people are working hard to clean up this mess and I hope no more storms will be heading their way!
